Lazy K Ranch

Lazy K Peppy Mabel has been used extensively in Lazy K Ranch's cattle operation but she is cold backed so if not ridden on a regular basis she needs to warmed up before stepping on. Suitable for an experienced rider, Mable is very sensitive and could make an excellent sorting/penning horse. This mare neck reins nice, moves out well and has a good stop. Currently in foal to Blue Boon Starlight (who carries a splash gene) Lazy K Peppy Mable is due around the first of the year., and has been preg checked safe in foal 4/19/21 by Dr. Taylor DVM. This mare has beautiful babies so we are really excited about this cross. Lazy K Peppy Mabel stands 14.3 hands and is 5 panel negative. She also has a small scar on her right front cannon bone that does not effect her soundness. See picture below.

Her maternal grandsire, Cat O Lena 380 was the B C Futurity Champion in Texas, and has produced offspring with ROM's, and NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA money earners. Doc O Lena needs no introduction. Both Little Peppy Lynx and Sugar Bar Gal has produced NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA money earners. Double Rowel has produced point and money earners in AQHA and NCHA.
