Standing at 15 hands, this mare is suitable for an advanced child or confident intermediate adult. Chex is gentle but still has some get up and go which is why we are not recommending her for a novice rider. Do not let her age stop you from considering this mare. When we pulled up her birthday, I was sure it was a mistake. She looks an acts half her age.
