Ribbon is homozygous for black and does have a splash gene. She has produced foals with blue eyes and chrome, see pictures below. She is also the dam of Blue Boon Starlight, one of our top stallions. She is an easy breeder but does carry one recessive Gbed gene, which will never affect her.
Ribbon has a fast walk, has been used extensively for trail riding in the mountains and is suitable for an intermediate rider.
Her grandsire on the bottom, Trulee A KC has halter, barrel, trail, w.pleasure, and hunter points. His foals have ROM's, AQHA points and NSBA earnings. Bulls Reporter (he was the beautiful black horse used in the Bonanza T V programs) has a race record.
