Lazy K Boon Xia is the definition of “Ranchy”. This big, beautiful mare has been used in Lazy K Ranch’s cattle operation as well as for trail rides in the High Sierras. She has also been used in an arena but it has been a while so she will need a refresher. Xia has the size and the mindset to take any direction you want. She is an easy breeder, but we did not expose her to a stallion after she foaled last fall of 2023.
Her sire, Boonlight All Stars is a big, stout horse with a long neck, short back, big hip and lots of bone. His sire, Boonlight Dancer, has offspring earning in excess of 1.5 million dollars. Peptoboonsmal has lifetime earnings of $180,487.00, and among other wins was a NCHA Futurity Champion. All Stars has open reining points herself and has produced 6 performers with NCHA and NRCHA money. Grays Starlight has offspring earning in excess of 10 million dollars. His offspring have made him one of the Leading Sires in the NRHA, NRCHA and NCHA. In 2007 Grays Starlight was the Leading Sire of Broodmares sold in both NRHA and NRCHA sales and the second leading sire of broodmares sold in NCHA sales. Bar J Whatastar has $27,639. in NCHA money and offspring with NCHA money. Just Plain Colonel earned over $40,000. in NCHA money with offspring earning ROM's, AQHA points, NCHA, NRCHA and NRA money. Dollinic produced NCHA and NRA money earners. Tuff Dignity with a halter and rope horse background, also won the Wine and Roses Futurity as a young horse. The Dignitary has many open halter, healing, western pleasure and hunter points. His offspring have AQHA World Show Champions, NSB and NRCH money earned.
