UPDATE - The response to our Cattle & Colt clinic on April 7th, 2018 has been tremendous. So much so that we have decided to open up the morning session to additional spectators. The morning will include the Stallion Parade, Problem Solving and Herd Work but will not include the Cattle Drive or Lunch. There is no charge for the morning session but we ask that you email Larry and let him know you will be joining us.

Raising stock horses is a way of life for us here at the Lazy K, and in our humble opinion there is no greater joy than working cows from the back of a good horse. The one thing that makes this experience even better is being able to share it with friends.

As a way of saying "Thank You" to our loyal patrons, we would like to invite those of you who own a Lazy K horse to bring your mount out to the ranch on Saturday, April 7th. 2018. We will start the morning with a short stallion parade followed by hands on problem solving session with Larry. (Please email Larry prior to the clinic with any issues you would like to address with your horse.)

Mid morning, Sherry & Michele will help riders with their herd work at the ranch headquarters (no previous experience necessary) then before lunch, riders will drive a heard cows and calves east along the Chowchilla River. Spectators are welcome to attend. After watching the colt starting and herd work, spectators will climb aboard a horse drawn wagon and follow the stock drive up the river.

The riding fee is $45/person and each rider must bring their own Lazy K horse. (Horses must have a Lazy K freeze mark on the left hip and/or have been bred here on the ranch. Please no stallions.) The spectator fee is $20 for adults (16 years and up) and $10 for children (6 to 15 years). Children under 6 are free. Lunch will be provided so be sure to bring a folding chair for each member of your party. Please no pets.

Please email Larry with any issues you would like to address with your horse at the clinic.
